We currently are looking for a UI/UX Design intern who is motivated and passionate to create compelling interactive experiences. The successful candidate will also be an energetic self-starter with a passion for technology and software products. They will be results-driven, ambitious, and enthusiastic about making an impact with Jacobs’ Visual Media Group.
Responsibilities
Apply UX fundamentals to support the design process and translate concepts into wire frames and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications, communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to clients.
Support the development of graphics for a wide range of digital media solutions.
Support the maintenance tasks for client’s websites.
Here’s What You’ll Need
In pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate UI/UX Design related degree from an accredited program
Knowledge of prototyping software (Figma, XD, Sketch, etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of user centered design, information architecture, responsive design, and interactive design best practices.
Strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
Desire to build, collaborate, and develop strong and positive team relationships.
Attention to detail, organization skills, strong work ethic, and ability to handle confidentiality.
Ideally, you’ll also have
3.0 GPA
Must be at least a rising Junior
knowledge of WordPress
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered UI design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
