The Associate Director is the Customer Value Stream Leader for the 767, 737 and 747 platforms. They lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and are accountable for executing all commitments to Boeing, including production deliveries, quality, fleet reliability and issue resolution, commercial terms and conditions, aftermarket support and total cost of ownership.

The hardware scope include turbomachinery, pneumatic valves, digital controls and heat exchangers across programs in multiple phases of the production lifecycle. A core success factor in this role will be the ability to work closely with the Operations team to drive hardware delivery to both Boeing production as well as aftermarket support demand.

The Associate Director – Value Stream Leader – 767, 737 and 747 Platforms is a remote role. 10-20% travel is expected.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT), providing accountability for the value stream’s deliverables including; hardware on-time delivery & quality, Company Funded Engineering budget & schedule adherence, along with inventory, and overdue reduction.
  • Directly interface with customers daily to manage the relationship and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Resolve existing commercial and contractual misalignments with Boeing and our airline customers.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Leadership team to drive On-Time Delivery to our OE and Aftermarket customers
  • Identify and develop mitigation plans risks to the value stream, including technical, commercial/contractual and industrial.
  • Identify opportunities to the program plan and develop associated capture plans.
  • Communicate the program’s status, risks and opportunities at cadence reviews, and upon request, at all leadership levels of the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the program

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in program and/or project management, supply chain, operations or contracts administration.
  • Experience with the major elements of Business Profit Assurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
