In your role as an Inflight Entertainment (IFE) Technician you are a key player in keeping our guests entertained during their stay with us and making them feel well on board. The IFE Team is responsible for maintaining the entertainment system on board of the SWISS and Edelweiss long-haul fleet.
Starting date: July 01, 2024 or upon agreement

Tasks
During turnarounds of the aircraft as well as in maintenance ground times you will control and repair the IFE system in compliance with all applicable regulations. As part of our maintenance team, you will work hand-in-hand with aircraft and cabin technicians, as well as the flight and cabin crews.
Maintenance work on the Inflight Entertainment System (IFE) and the Global Communication Suite (GCS) according to the specifications of EASA Part-66 and EASA Part-145
Replacement of hardware components on the IFE and the GCS systems
Media and software updates on the IFE and GCS systems
Inspection and repair work on the IFE and GCS systems
Troubleshooting on the IFE and GCS systems

Requirements
Completed technical vocational training
Technical/electrical experience of at least 3 years
Good knowledge of audio/video and network systems
Good handling of IT tools like MS Office
Motivated, flexible, cooperative and reliable
Able to work in a team
Good written and spoken English and German
