Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

Archer is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Enterprise Integration Architect to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable integration solutions across our enterprise applications. This hands-on technical position involves deep technical expertise and a strategic approach to ensure seamless data flow and communication across the enterprise, supporting our global scale objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your technical and strategic skills to drive technical excellence and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of integration solutions, ensuring data consistency, security, and performance. Utilize platforms like Workato, Dell Boomi, or similar ETL platforms to build scalable and efficient integrations.
  • Develop a comprehensive integration strategy that aligns with business goals, driving the technical development of integration solutions including enterprise application integration ETL processes and Python & SQL scripting.
  • Follow standard SDLC processes for planning, development, test, version control, and deployment of solutions using tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Teamcity, etc.
  • Guide technology choices and drive agile development methodologies. Analyze market trends to evaluate their impact on the enterprise technology architecture.
  • Define and enforce architecture governance processes to maintain the integrity of integration solutions. Lead the analysis of current technology environments to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Support application and infrastructure development projects to align with enterprise architecture.
  • Monitor and optimize integration solutions for enhanced efficiency and reliability. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for integration solutions and processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and derive technology architecture that supports solution enablement. Partner with PMO to ensure execution of plans aligns with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in system architecture, with a focus on integration and enterprise solutions.
  • Strong technical proficiency in middleware platforms such as Workato, Dell Boomi, Kafka, etc.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs and web services, ensuring seamless integration and communication between various systems and platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of software development tools and languages, including Python, SQL, Java, PHP, JavaScript, Groovy, HTML5, XML, JSON, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning and technical development in a complex environment.
  • Experience with major SaaS applications (e.g., AWS, GCP) and understanding of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, etc..
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks like SOA and TOGAF.
  • Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with an ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

For this position we are targeting a base pay between $220,000 - $240,000 Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
