Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Aviation Business or related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Related experience in aerospace field sales support, engineering, service, flight operations, marketing or completions. Advanced degree preferred.. Position Purpose:Act as the primary source of technical information during the sales process. Work in close coordination with International Sales Executives to provide timely and accurate sales support for assigned sales territories including technical analyses, competitive analyses, and sales proposal responses. Interface directly with Level 1, 2 and 3 customers to provide them with all necessary information to support Sales initiatives. Plan and guide the successful completion of significant initiatives and tasks.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

  • Provide technical information directly to Level 1, 2 and 3 customers through formal sales presentations, customer visits, facility tours, static displays and demonstration flights.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales support for assigned sales territories, including technical analyses, competitive analyses, sales proposal responses, customer question responses, and generation of customer specific sales material. .
  • Assist Sales Executives in the development of sales messages and strategy that are appropriate for a particular account.
  • Act as primary point of contact and liaison between field-based sales executives and Savannah.
  • Work in close coordination with other territory based Gulfstream representatives on collaborative projects of increasing level of complexity. Takes the lead in development, coordination and completion of project milestones.
  • Provide sales engineering/customer support at all necessary marketing events, trade shows, air shows, static displays, industry conferences, and special events. .
  • Responsible for organizing sales engineering support and materials for events in the assigned sales territories.

Additional Functions:

  • Responsible for the development and upkeep of territory specific sales engineering materials. .
  • Complete assigned background tasks in a timely manner. .
  • Provide Gulfstream Savannah Management and Leadership updates on any territory specific challenges that might impact sales. .
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of domestic and foreign regulatory requirements and issues. .
  • Maintain job tracking data and historical records of all work accomplished. .

Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:

  • Proven experience dealing with customers and formal presentations.
  • Excellent working knowledge of airplane operations, regulations, performance, and the high end business jet industry.
  • Excellent computer skills to include flight performance software, customer data bases, MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Computer graphics skills are an advantage.
  • Pilots License is an advantage.
