QHSE Supervisor

Role Purpose

The role is responsible in implementing QHSE programs, policies, procedures & processes and conduct risk assessments, inspections ensuring operating standards across the station. Furthermore, the role requires ensuring compliance as per global best practices stipulated by client airlines and other local/international regulatory authorities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure compliance in monitoring and implementing current policies, regulations and industrial processes.
• Assess risks on site and make recommendations to responsible personnel to ensure all risks are managed or eliminated.
• Conduct and report site safety inspection and airside performance.
• Ensure completion of internal & external audit and closure of finding & observations
• Investigate occurrences (accidents/incidents/near-misses), determine root causes, contributing factors and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence and follow up on implementation of recommendations and their effectiveness.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Industrial Safety, Quality or related fields. NEBOSH Diploma preferable
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience of quality and safety, aviation experience will be added advantage.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of oral and written English and local language as indicated.
• Good Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and job related applications.
• Knowledge of Quality management and aviation industry operations, process and regulation standards
• Certificate in NEBOSH/OSHA/IRCA Lead Auditor.
