This director role will lead a critical transformation for Non-Product Supply Chain to drive optimization in our Collins Enterprise for service and value. This individual will involve and align with stake holders from Supply Chain, Operations, SBU’s, and functions throughout the Collins. This individual will regularly present to executive leadership on project updates and status. Ultimately, this individual will ensure the project’s execution and success to achieve cost savings and future org structure. It is anticipated this project role will last 9-12 months, after which transitioning to a supervisory role in the newly transformed organization. This includes the ability to influence the design of the global organization as it is deployed.

The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Champion the transformation of the non-product organization, while managing stakeholder feedback to ensure service levels are met and exceeded.
- Requires the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization in order to meet project deliverables and balance perspectives for optimized solutions.
- Requires development and deployment of timelines (Level 1,2, and 3) to drive project execution while partnering with an external third party.
- Drive the implementation and execution of this global transformation including training, change management, and roles & responsibilities within the enterprise
- Identify unified standard control tower metrics to drive and sustain and/or improve service levels
- Leading project team meetings including leadership and leading passport gate reviews, design reviews, and driving accountability for actions.
- Identify and mitigate key risks
- Works with Finance and Government Accounting to enable successful implementation
- Enables improvement targets including: Ariba business case, strategic financial plan (SFP) goals, and Supply Chain control tower metrics.
- Liaise with Human Resources to develop an effective organizational design and drive project execution in a dynamic environment.
- Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time (domestic and international)
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Persons (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
- 3+ years of experience leading global project implementations
- 10+ years of supply chain experience, including but not limited to, strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain digital transformation, etc.
- Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization
- Prior experience with continuous improvement
- Located near any major Collins Aerospace location. Includes, but not limited to; Charlotte NC, Cedar Rapids IA, Chula Vista CA, Windsor Locks CT, Phoenix AZ.
- MBA degree or Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM), Business with emphasis on Supply Chain Management, or other related field.
- ISM, CPM, APICS, CSCP certification
- PMP certification
- Experience setting strategic vision to develop long term strategy
- Aerospace industry experience
- Financial Acumen
