We are looking for a driven Destinations Insights Sales and Customer Success Manager to support the team with different tasks and projects.

Summary Of The Role

The Destination Insights, Sales & Customer Success Manager is a commercial sales role responsible for supporting and driving the Destinations Insights team commercial efforts by identifying new business opportunities and empowering customers to unlock the most value of Amadeus Business Intelligence solutions for higher return on their investment and business impact. The DI - Sales and Customer Success Manager plays a key role in driving the success of both the Destination team and also our clients.

The Role Focuses On The Following Areas

  • Identifying new business opportunities to upsell and convert Business Intelligence Solutions
  • Consulting clients on data usage and ensure early adoption and usage of our BI solutions to derive maximum value for the client and ensure renewal
  • This role customer facing and may require travel to destinations

In This Role You’ll

Business Development/Commercial sales:

  • Be responsible for the Renewal of Business Intelligence partners and upsell opportunities as per the renewal dates set in the plan. Identify and qualify new business opportunities by conducting research and gathering data on destination trends;
  • Identify customers specific needs and identify patterns to support the submission of tailored business proposal which leads to deal closure;
  • Collaborate with the greater Destinations team in order to help define the overall sales plan based on market research and customer insights.
  • Identify customers specific needs and identify patterns that can be used to improve customer satisfaction and drive sales; and demo of our data solutions to destinations clients to assist in the promotion and selling of our BI products and services.
  • Coordinate and participate in RFP responses and follow up

Lead Generation - sourcing new internal contacts within our Destination Partners (Destination Management Organizations) and building an active pipeline of upsell opportunity through various strategic approaches

  • Respond to complex (RFP) request for proposals, negotiate with Destinations to ensure long-term wins for Amadeus against other competitors. Meeting strict time lines to respond to responses on time
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant products and platforms and associated internal trainings + proactively work with GTM team to consistently help adapt our BI sales offering
  • Ensure that the renewals are completed by the planned renewal date and all paperwork is signed and completed within Salesforce. Requires close collaboration with Legal + Other BI Product teams.

This role is an individual contributor, and it interacts with Marketing, Research Team, and the Data team.

About The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years previous commercial sales experience
  • Previous experience in working for an Airline, Tour Operator and/or Destination Management company preferred.
  • Strong business development experience required.
  • Travel required – 30 % globally.
  • Previous experience in Business Intelligence.
  • Travel/Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills with Government departments related to travel and/or Travel Tourism Organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred but not required.
  • Strong English, Spanish speaking skills required. Any other languages such as French and or Portuguese would be a plus.
  • Business Insights and Destination Management experience required.
  • Strong understanding of the Travel & Tourism Industry
  • The position is located in Bogota, must be able to work a hybrid model.
