Propulsion Systems Analyst (NJUS)
Purpose of Position
The Propulsion Programs Analyst works to identify, research, collect, trend, analyze and monitor the top unscheduled Engine/APU maintenance events as well as technical oversight of off-wing Engine/APU events. In addition, the Propulsion Programs Analyst assists with ensuring the scheduled maintenance programs for NetJets’ Engines/APUs are comprehensive and executed at optimal intervals to provide safe, reliably operating aircraft while minimizing impact to aircraft availability.

The Propulsion Programs Analyst works to identify, research, collect, trend, analyze and monitor the top unscheduled Engine/APU maintenance events as well as technical oversight of off-wing Engine/APU events. In addition, the Propulsion Programs Analyst assists with ensuring the scheduled maintenance programs for NetJets’ Engines/APUs are comprehensive and executed at optimal intervals to provide safe, reliably operating aircraft while minimizing impact to aircraft availability.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Identify, research, collect, trend, analyze and monitor the top unscheduled Engine/APU maintenance discrepancy drivers, as well as assist with the optimization and improvement of Engine/APU scheduled maintenance programs.
- Review, analyze and oversee off-wing Engine/APU shop visit technical data, review cost estimates and evaluate repairs and Engineering deviations.
- Build data displays and spreadsheets depicting occurrences of maintenance events, component changes etc. for Engines and/or APU's as assigned to illustrate needed maintenance program changes and substantiate proposed changes to NJA Aircraft Maintenance Review Board and FAA review/approval.
- Coordinate all above tasks with interdepartmental or cross-department staff to enable projects to accomplish reliability improvements and maintenance program optimizations.
- Review Engine Condition Trend Monitoring (ECTM) data for engine performance and provide feedback to the Maintenance organization based on ECTM review.

- Understanding of Engine Condition Trend Monitoring applications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with outside departments/individuals
