Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity on the E-7A Program for an Associate or Mid-Level Project Management Specialist located in Tukwila, WA. This position will support the E-7A Program Integration Office.

In this position you will work closely with the engineering team, program managers, contracts, supply chain, and customers to execute the program. This is a growth role, with the expectation that broad skills and experience gained here would be applicable to a variety of other current and future contracts. The selected candidate will be part of a team focused on application of Boeing Program Management Best Practices in support of successfully executing the USAF E-7A Program.

The E-7 is the world’s most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships.

Position responsibilities:

• Participates in maintaining, analyzing and producing metrics related to plans. Assists more experienced personnel with risk assessments, developing mitigation plan and refining the business case.
• Supports preparation, development, coordination, scheduling, and change management activities of maintaining an integrated plan to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
• Develops, collects, organizes and provides data, updates task, to maintain status of programs, schedule, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
• Coordinates document work statements and resulting schedules.
• Identifies and provide reports on performance variances, project status, change information to project team.
• Communicates plan changes and recovery plans to ensure commitment to stakeholders.
  
  
  

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills.
• Experience with Program Management Best Practices.

• Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders.
• Earned Value Management experience.
• Experience with execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Associate level 2: $73,950 - $100,050

Summary pay range Mid-level 3: $93,500 - $126,500
