In this 12month fixed term contract as a Quarterly Business Review Manager (QBR Specialist), you will be a valued performance business partner, able to influence and negotiate to optimise value management across your portfolio. You will be driving the QBR process across Tribes, Centres of Excellence, Delivery Units and Chapter Areas from long term value roadmaps through to in-quarter QBR memos and associated Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).


About the role:


You will:

  • Facilitate and optimise outcomes from the QBR process across Air New Zealand business units including quality quarterly OKRs aligned to strategic priorities, and longer-term value roadmaps.
  • Provide insights and integrated reporting across the Air New Zealand value lifecycle.
  • Ensure resources are directed to opportunities that deliver highest value, optimising associated processes and trade off decisions.
  • Facilitate the preparation and delivery of key QBR events.
  • Lead continuous improvement and development of templates, timelines, processes, guides, automation etc needed to ensure smooth and timely execution of the quarterly and annual priority setting and prioritisation processes.
  • Promote awareness of and adherence to Air NZ Empowerment Framework
  • Develop relationships and maintain ongoing engagement with internal stakeholders across the business to educate, support and embed a discipline of value management, strong governance, delivery, and accountability.


About you:

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including at senior levels, supported by strong oral and written communication.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisation skills, including ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • A skilled coach and facilitator who can utilise these skills in partnering their business area to achieve results and outcomes.
  • High degree of strategic thinking, business awareness and conceptual ability
