Job Details

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, creative Chef to join our client at London Heathrow Airport at our VIP lounge in their low risk kitchen on a permanent basis.

Pay rate: £14.25 p/h
Hours: 05:00 – 13:30 AND 13:30 – 22:00
Shift pattern: 2 earlies and 2 lates and 4 off

Duties include:
• Preparing food for service, including breakfast and an a la Carte menu.
• Assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Always Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas.
• Ensuring deliveries are stored in a timely and effective manner. Rotating stock where necessary.
• Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively, and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards.
• Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and working to set meal and portion plans

To be considered for these roles you must:
• Previous experience in a similar role or as a Junior Sous Chef or experienced Commis Chef
• Have similar experience within a hotel, airport, restaurant, banqueting, contract catering, or similar catering environment
• Be able to commute easily and reside within travelling distance of London Heathrow Airport (Some roles offer complementary staffing parking)
Some of the roles will be required to provide a five-year checkable history and a criminal record check as part of the interview process.
