Position Summary

Corporate Audit serves as an independent, objective assurance and advisory activity designed to add value and improve the control environment and operations of the Company. The Senior Auditor is responsible for leading and executing audits and other Corporate Audit projects, providing process improvement recommendations that promote the Company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead internal audits and other complex, corporate projects
  • Conducts scoping and planning of audits and contributes to the development of audit programs
  • Review and prepare working papers that document the audit procedures performed, information obtained and the conclusions reached
  • Execute audit procedures in accordance with the approved audit program and departmental standards and audit methodology
  • Analyze test results to determine if control objectives and risks are adequately met
  • Identify root causes of findings and provide value-added recommendations to business process owners to effectively address issues and draft internal audit reports
  • Meets budgets for the assigned areas audited
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Four or more years of general audit, accounting, IT general controls or related experience
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hawaiian Airlines is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT - regulation, 49 CFR part 40) and all applicants are advised that post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing will be conducted to determine the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opioids, PCP (Phencyclidine), and Amphetamine prior to any offer of employment or transfer into a safety-sensitive position. Failure to submit to testing or positive indications of drug use will render the applicant ineligible for employment with Hawaiian Airlines and any employment offer will be withdrawn.
  • In addition to routine employment eligibility verification, U.S.-based airlines must gather information to validate country of citizenship and country of birth. Upon hire, you must provide documentation proving your current country of citizenship and birthplace.

Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $78,000 - $111,000.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SOX 404 controls testing experience
  • Professional Certification: CISA, CIA or CPA
  • Airline experience
