We have an exciting remote opportunity for a 30K Program Finance Manager!

The Commercial Engines finance organization has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Finance role supporting the 30K Engine Program (IAE LLC) in East Hartford, Connecticut. The role is at the financial forefront for the growing 30K program and provides an exciting opportunity to play a substantial role in the financial leadership of the program.

IAE LLC is a joint venture that is responsible for all aspects of the engineering, production, sales and customer support of the PW1100G-JM and PW1400G-JM geared turbofan (GTF) engines. These next generation engines entered into service in 2016 and are in the early phase of an unprecedented ramp in production.

The 30K Program Finance Manager position plays an integral role in the financial management of Engineering & Development (E&D) budgets, capital requests, management authorized material (MAM’s), and IAE LLC partner considerations. This position provides a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of organizations within P&W including, but not limited to, the 30K program office, Collaboration Accounting, GTF Accounting, GTF FP&A, and CE FP&A.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the financial management of the 30K program E&D budget
  • Ownership of month-end close and forecast responsibilities for 30K E&D, capex, and management authorized material (MAM)
  • Liaise with the 30K Program team to drive optimal cost outcomes for the use of compliance and development engines
  • Provide ongoing financial support and analysis to the 30K PCE team
  • Financial support and guidance as part of 30K budget council
  • Own the 30K excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory assessment
  • Support the Long-Range Plan (LRP) forecast for E&D and capex
  • Supervise and develop one Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) associate
  • Analysis in support of ad hoc requests

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an Advanced degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - his position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong MS Excel
  • System knowledge of SAP and HFM
  • Strong analytical skills

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
