Data Analyst (Mid)

As a Data Analyst (Mid) at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will work to streamline services for managing data as an asset, perform Agile software development, and provide Cloud services across a DoD agency. Your work will shape opportunities for the management of data-as-knowledge used in real-time missions and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security. The primary areas of performance include Data Management, Cybersecurity, Software Services, Infrastructure and Platform Services, and Cloud Services.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, science, or other relevant field plus 6-11 years of experience.


Required Qualifications:


  • Experience using standard data collection tools to analyze data daily, to collect and review reports and surveys from data collection systems, checking data and responses for quality accuracy, and completeness.
  • Experience using analytical expertise in data collection tools and statistical methods to the RDT&E community in analyzing data and identifying trends.
  • Able to extract specific data elements from databases and analyze that data under supervision using appropriate software.


This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency mission
  • An understanding of the Agile Software Development Processes
  • Experience providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
  • Experience independently determining and developing approaches to solutions.
  • Experience contributing to the completion of specific programs and projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required with the ability to present complex technology into layman terms.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and non-standard hours when needed.
  • Ability to interact with inter-organizational personnel and external customers, providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.


Telework Availability: 100% Onsite but work a 9/80 Schedule.

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$92,700 - $113,300
