The Associate Director leads the regional sales team to execute the sales strategy to drive Interiors Service & Support growth through Mods and Upgrades (MAUs), Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO), RSPL and Spares initiatives. The position is responsible for managing newly developed Integrated Customer Teams (ICT) for specific customers in the Asia Pac / China Region. The position supports our Interiors Business Unit within Collins Aerospace and will be based in Singapore.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the Integrated Customer Teams (ICTs) for defined customers in the Asia Pac/China Region
- Lead team of sales managers to secure MAU & Service offerings to meet / exceed sales annual operating plan / 5-year strategic finance plan
- Lead, negotiate and close customer specific sales opportunities
- Understand customer needs, manage the open sales opportunity pipeline and develop winning strategies to secure MAU & other service offerings
- Collaborate with Interiors Services & Support Business Development Managers, Account Executives, Engineering, and Value Stream Leaders on pursuits and account activity
- Act as escalation point to provide resolution to customer on specific issues
- Develop customer and segment information related to account activity
- Perform competitive product/segment intelligence related to IS&S service offerings
- Manage MAU install base activity by product and pursuit pipeline to meet/exceed booking target
- Work with various levels of an organization including senior management
- Collaborate with Collins personnel to ensure compliance with all product and business initiatives
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Prior customer experience within the airline or aerospace industry in the Asia Pac region
- Prior direct report management experience
- Prior negotiating contract experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry with aircraft interiors suppliers, airlines, or Business Jet aircraft original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
- Ability to conduct customer meetings and prepare reports to communicate account status activity
- Financial calculations understanding
- MS Office, ERP/SAP experience
