Job Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule – (Every other Friday is a non-workday.)
Job Description:
Primary job duty to work as a specialist in image processing and software integration as part of an integrated team developing algorithms, software, and related products supporting the exploitation of video for ISR applications.
Essential Functions:
- Develop algorithms and methods for video and image exploitation.
- Ability to work in a C++ development environment.
- Understanding of the impact of real-time constraints on system design.
- Ability to work in an agile process team.
- Ability to use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Teamcenter, MS Office, etc.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, Optics, or a related field is strongly desired. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Must have demonstrated ability in relevant development areas and project sizes.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision.
- Have worked with or developed software for ISR systems in the past.
- Experience with shipboard or airborne mission systems.
- An active DoD Secret clearance at start date.
