Responsibilities

  • Baggage Performance monitoring and co-ordinate with baggage performance report;
  • Maintain, update and review baggage policy and procedures;
  • Liaise and maintain a good relationship with airline partners, ground handlers and HKIA for standard baggage handling (Baggage Community Meeting);
  • Baggage Service and System monitoring and configuration;
  • Plans, recruits, coaches and mentors’ direct reports, and works with the baggage community to create a strong sense of team and to support and emulate the values of the corporation;
  • Co-ordinate with various parties (internal/external) to enhance the operation quality;
  • To centralize baggage claims;
  • To Monitor, Support and review disruptions handling;
  • Perform random check/audit to outstations operation;
  • Conduct station audits to ensure all outstations comply with company standards;
  • Responsible for the management, supervision, safety and security of his/her scope of work ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, applicable standards and company requirements;
  • Responsible for identifying hazards and reporting hazards and occurrences to management personnel;
  • Co-ordinate and meeting with cross departmental issues to smoothen and innovate daily operations;
  • Launch continuous improvement projects on operation;
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned by senior management.


Requirements

  • Tertiary education or equivalent. A Bachelor's holder will be an advantage;
  • 4 years or above relevant experiences in aviation industry and preferably 1 years in supervisory level;
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, Putonghua is required;
  • Proficiency in MS office applications and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline;
  • Good Leadership skills and able to lead the team to achieve company goals;
  • Independent, well-organized and detail-minded.
