ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

As a Project Manager, you will help to provide an enterprise view of privacy risk through the execution of targeted second line monitoring reviews and risk analysis of controller, processor and vendor data processing activities. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of professional curiosity and an interest in application of internal controls, regulations and best practice as they apply to privacy across the enterprise.

As part of the Global Privacy Office, the Privacy Monitoring Risk Specialist will help to embed and maintain privacy compliance across SITA, supporting and advising on the planning and execution of monitoring reviews as well as having the opportunity to contribute their own thoughts and ideas to the broader development of the privacy function in SITA

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage, coordinate and execute the Global Privacy Office annual second line monitoring plan as it applies to controller, processor and in-life vendor data processing operations.
  • Track privacy review risk remediations to closure with appropriate stakeholders and KPIs.
  • Manage the SITA privacy risk register updates and provide related input into management briefings and papers.
  • Support a risk analysis of new privacy laws and regulations, collaborating with internal stakeholders to produce timely recommendations and mitigation plans.
  • Track and monitor privacy risks associated with mergers, acquisitions and subsidiary integrations, ensuring privacy risks are tracked to resolution.
  • Act as the Global Privacy Office liaison for Internal Audit.
  • As requested by the Chief Privacy Officer, conduct data investigations and produce reports.
  • Contribute to the design and implement bespoke privacy risk performance indicators for Corporate, GEOs, Business Units and functions.
  • Contribute to the development of OneTrust tools and templates appropriate to the monitoring and risk role.
  • Represent the team in day- day-to-day activities with SITA business, legal, and technology stakeholders.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • +5 years of privacy and or IT audit experience in a multinational environment.
  • Robust understanding of privacy risk and how it applies in a commercial and operational context.
  • Demonstrable experience of presenting complex information to senior leaders and with relevant tools (PowerBI).
  • Good experience of OneTrust.
  • Knowledge and understanding of privacy laws and regulations and the ability to quickly assimilate the inter-play with technology and business commercial deliverables.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze requirements and relate them to appropriate privacy controls.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across multiple business functions and teams and manage and prioritize workloads effectively
  • Demonstrable project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
  • Recognized privacy and or IT audit qualification preferred e.g. IAPP, CRISC and/ or CISA
