Job Description

Strategy

  • Propose to the Head of Operations local inputs for the MRO Aircraft Strategy
  • Execute locally the Regional MRO Aircraft Strategy

Forecasting activities

  • Propose the local MRO A/C center capability needs (CAPEX, SDP, IMMP…) and align with the Hub
  • Develop and maintain the MRO resources and capabilities plan to ensure availability of the required competencies, qualifications as well as parts, tools and services to execute the MRO strategy

Offers

  • Build and provide on time and on quality technical and competitive costing elements for all local A/C MRO offers optimizing the use of local resources and assets

Contract execution

  • Execute MRO O&I contracts, ensuring on time, cost and quality delivery of the contracts

Performance Management

  • Drive application of operational management standards (Franchising standards)
  • Conduct performance assessment
  • Implement local transformation and improvement plans
  • Support Regional Workload / Capacity Balancing between Customer Centers via work allocation where needed

Regulations & Certifications

  • Implement the worldwide common group standards in the CC
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (safety, environmental, customers & governmental agencies)

Standards / Methods & Tools

  • Ensure effective deployment of AH standards, methods & tools in the CC
  • Share best practices within the region

Team management

In collaboration with the relevant HR representative,

  • Lead and motivate the MRO O&I team
  • Plan, review and manage Regional staffing, resources deployment and utilization
  • Conduct or contribute as applicable to goals setting, performance evaluation, compensation review
  • Identify, assess, manage and develop the required Regional competencies and skillsets, define or contribute to the definition of development, succession and retention plans
  • Demonstrate, encourage and develop Airbus Leadership Model behaviors and ways of working within teams
  • Promote and live by the Airbus Values

MRO Functions

  • Ensures that all maintenance tasks/ inspections, ADs/ ASBs/ and other mandatory publications are properly carry out in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that there are adequately trained, qualified and authorized personnel available to service and maintain customers’ aircraft, engines, and components;
  • Performs quality control functions, as required.
  • Ensures that there are adequate and serviceable tools, equipment and facilities to carry out the different aircraft maintenance/ inspection in accordance with PCAR and OEMs’ standards;
  • Enforces the highest standards of discipline in adhering to the established quality and safety procedures stipulated in company manuals.
  • Prepares the shift and manpower assignment based on the work load.
  • Shall be responsible for any corrective action resulting from quality compliance monitoring and provides preventive action plan to preclude recurrence of audit findings;
  • Recommends and implements policies and procedures pertaining to technical matters, technical personnel and workload commitment priorities.
  • Assists the management in relation to employee performance and discipline.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years related experience
  • With CAAP valid license
  • With relevant knowledge and satisfactory experince related to aircraft/aircraft component maintenance
