L3Harris is seeking to hire a Sr DevSecOps Software Engineer to join the Support team. Support will consist of answering customer questions, troubleshooting configuration, performance or other issues. Support may be conducted via phone, email or on site. Administering the system will include performing installations/upgrades, configuration changes. The team will also be responsible for on-site customizations that are not brought back into the baseline.
Essential Functions:
- Provide support to Space Force customer site with configuration, deployment, monitoring, maintanance, and troubleshooting Redhat/Centos Linux systems in agile work environment
- Conduct occasional (10%) travel to customer site
- Deploy infrastructure through automation
- Provide cloud engineering or administration support (C2S/Gov Cloud)
- Provide security control implementations in compliance with DoD security frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technologies, or related discipline with 6 years of software experience; or 4 years relevant software experience with a Graduate Degree. In lieu of degree, 10 years of software experience.
- Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
- Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Redhat, Centos, or Linux systems.
- Experience deploying infrastructure through automation.
- Experience with infrastructure virtualization.
- Experience with cloud engineering or administration (C2S/Gov Cloud)
- Experience supporting software deployments at customer sites (10% travel).
- Experience customizing/optimizing/trouble shooting enterprise level applications.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (Security+).
- Scripting experiencce with Python or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes.
- Experience with RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience with PKI and/or OAuth authentication models.
- Experience supporting DoD/government customers.
- Experience integrating and administering cross-domain systems.
- Experience with microservices, containers using tools such as Docker.
