Purchasing Assistant – Purchasing, easyJet holidays (6 Months FTC)

We, The Purchasing Team, negotiate the best deals with our hotel partners so we can continue to offer great quality hotels and value for money holidays. Our goal is to build strong partner relations to drive revenue. That calls for first class communication and influencing skills partnered with a strong commercial mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing

The role of the Purchasing Assistant will be to support the Purchasing Team by assisting with the day-to-day management of hotelier invoice queries and the loading of commercial discounts, as well as taking care of event planning and administration for the team. This will be an important role based in the operational side of the Purchasing Team. You’ll be commercially focused, process oriented, and show great attention to detail, helping the department deliver on our goals and strategies for future years by ensuring all queries and discounts are handled accurately and efficiently.

You’ll also spend half of your time co-ordinating departmental conferences and team events and facilitating leisure travel for directors and senior management - so if you pride yourself on your organisation and planning skills, this part of the role will really appeal. You’ll also need to be confident in managing senior stakeholders. This role is perfect for somebody who wants to join a friendly, fast-paced team, and try something new in the travel industry.

The candidate will have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.

You need to have a strong eye for detail and attention to accuracy and easily earns trust in all working relationships through excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Be results-focused and driven, with a strong ‘can do’ attitude’.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time role based at the easyJet holidays HQ which is near Luton Airport, and we operate a hybrid working model of 2 days per week in the office at Capability Green
