Senior Associate, Procurement

You will be part of the newly set-up Procurement Centre of Excellence (CoE) that plays an important role in supporting the divisions with their procurement transactions to ensure compliance and achieve operational efficiency (by reducing queries and errors due to unfamiliarity with the procurement process). Your role encompasses supporting business stakeholders in the end-to-end procurement-to-payment process, such as preparing and publishing tender/quotation documents, onboarding vendors to the eProcurement system, preparing contract documents, creating Purchase Orders (POs), following up on outstanding invoices, etc. In addition, you need to ensure that procurement policies and procedures are complied with when executing transactions within the agreed service level agreement. You should support the team in improving/streamlining existing processes by removing redundant steps or automating processes using low-code tools such as Power Automate, etc. You also need to be a customer-oriented person who can assist business stakeholders with issues pertaining to procurement.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, Business, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Candidates with no prior experience are also welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of the procurement function and some accounting knowledge will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms and in engaging and managing business stakeholders.
• Meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in systems such as SAP, electronic procurement systems, etc.
• Able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in using low-code tools such as Power Automate, Power App, and building BI dashboards, etc. will be an advantage.

A one year contract will be offered in the first instance, with the possibility of subsequent renewal based on performance and projects.
