Job Summary
As a manager store inspector, you will be responsible for overseeing the systematic storage of materials, executing material issuance processes, updating inventory records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by leading efforts to maintain proper segregation of materials. Also to implement measures in order to enhance departmental operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and leading participation in audits.
Responsibilities
Ensure systematic and proper storage of materials in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and regulatory requirements.
Execute Issue materials per requisitions and maintain records in accordance with the standard procedures.
Update inventory data/records of spares, piece parts, expendables and consumables on daily basis.
Ensure appropriate segregation of customer units in quarantine, serviceable and unserviceable areas/locations.
Ensure timely transfer of customer units to respective workshops upon completion of necessary inspection activities.
Ensure proper inspection, packing and provision of accompanying paper work at time of dispatch of customer units.
Ensure timely receipts and dispatch of customer units.
Maintain inward / outward details of customer Units on daily basis.
Prepare consumption/inventory report for all materials, establish ROL and such other analysis as may be required for ensuring availability of materials for the performance of repair/maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance in conformance to applicable regulatory/statutory requirements.
Prepare DG forms, as may be applicable.
Lead participation during audits/checks/inspections.
Formulate and implement measures to improve overall operations of the department.
