Email Developer

As our Email Developer, you’ll design, build, and send responsive, dynamic emails. You’ll use your skills to develop emails that are relevant and engaging, as well as have the opportunity to exercise your creative and design skills within our best-in-class automated CRM programmes. With a strong emphasis on personalisation and dynamic content, you’ll play a key part in the continued development of our lifecycle communications as well as ensuring our customers receive the right communication, at the right time.

Please note that this role will be offered as a salaried 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll design and build emails within our successful Marketing Department.
• You’ll contribute creative ideas towards our lifecycle communications to increase engagement, revenue and CRM objectives.
• You’ll work with stakeholders to ensure communications are accurate and meet business requirements.
• You’ll schedule the sends of CRM communications, ensuring the right message is delivered to the right audience.
• You’ll follow industry best practice guidelines, keep on top of the latest trends and make sure all templates and designs are responsive and maximised for mobile platforms.
• You’ll test communications to check all designs are to a high standard, on-brand and consistent.
• You’ll assist with push notifications and SMS development when required.
  
  
  

What You’ll Have

• You’ll have previous digital design experience and an understanding of email development and email marketing.
• You’ll have knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• You’ll have strong knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Dreamweaver and have a desire to create best-in-class communications.
  
  
  

Desirable

• You’ll have experience of delivering digital artwork from brief to concept to completion.
• You’ll have experience with animation and using Adobe AfterEffects.
• You’ll have experience with our preferred platforms, Movable Ink and Dotdigital.
