Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic security solutions, aligning with the organization's risk appetite and business objectives, to proactively mitigate current and emerging cyber threats.
• Take charge of planning, implementing, and deploying advanced security technologies and solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption tools, and other critical components, ensuring comprehensive protection.
• Lead identity and access management for third-party collaborators, business partners, and freelancers, enforcing secure and authorized access protocols.
• Conduct meticulous reviews and documentation of perimeter security functions, reinforcing the organization's overall defense posture.
• Oversee the continuous monitoring of security threats and vulnerabilities, utilizing cutting-edge tools and resources to promptly detect and mitigate potential breaches.
• Collaborate on root cause analyses of security incidents, providing expert insights and recommending actionable improvements to enhance overall security posture.
• Investigate solution architecture and provide expert recommendations for enhancements, ensuring that robust security measures are seamlessly integrated into all systems.
• Champion security awareness and educational initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture of vigilance and best practices in security protocols.
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related courses. 
• Preferably with CISSP/CISM/CISA or other similar IT Security certification.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management, security metrics, and perimeter security. 
• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards to design and implement effective security solutions. 
• Familiarity with perimeter security functions, methodologies, and technologies. 
• Understanding of solution architecture investigation techniques, logical and physical, to identify security gaps. 
• Strong background in monitoring and reporting on key security metrics, reviewing and documenting perimeter security functions, and In incident detection, escalation, and response. 
• Must have at least 2 years experience of leading a team.
  
  

Note: This position will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
