Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, optimize, monitor and maintain data pipelines, includes the design and creation of conceptual, logical, and physical data models/data schema of data assets for operational reporting and analytical consumption
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to improve data reliability, efficiency, quality, and accessibility throughout the data lifecycle
• Collaborate with various business units to understand and document existing data sources, data movement, and data management practices
• Align data architecture with business requirements
• Assist in the development and documentation of standards across the entire data lifecycle
• Assist in the creation, maintenance, and management of the data inventory
• Explore new data sources and new technologies that can drive innovation
• Be a champion for increasing data literacy across the organization
• Manage a team of Data Engineers in delivering the needs of the business in Data
• Follow and promote data governance best practices

Basic Qualifications:

• A College graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any other related course.
• ETL/ELT experience and data integration knowledge required
• Depth in database design, data modeling/schema design- from conceptualization to optimization an advantage
• Big Data, data warehousing, reporting and analytics projects experience both in established and emerging data technologies (traditional on-premises or cloud data solutions)
• Experience in multiple data platforms, data management technologies, data visualization tools
• Strong programming skills
• Agile software development is an advantage

Note: This position will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
