Join our team as the ETS and CORSIA Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager of Fuel Strategy & ESG. In this role, you will collaborate across Flight Operations Finance, Treasury, and Tax teams, overseeing and ensuring compliance with ETS, CORSIA, and mandatory offsetting regulations.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to take on the role at easyJet, responsible for overseeing all aspects of environmental compliance across our various Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) and Emissions Trading Schemes (ETS), including EU-ETS, CH-ETS and UK-ETS.

You will be tasked with developing, maintaining, and obtaining approval for ETS, CORSIA, and Mandatory Offsetting Monitoring Plans, as well as ensuring accurate reporting of emissions and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) usage in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will lead efforts to implement improvements recommended by verifiers, stay well-informed of regulatory and industry developments, and chair cross-functional meetings related to ETS, CORSIA, and Mandatory Offsetting.

This role will also involve supporting easyJet's Sustainability Programme, fuel efficiency initiatives, and reporting capabilities, while managing internal and external audits, developing environmental policies, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. You will ensure company processes remain up-to-date and compliant with regulations, while providing training to employees to ensure seamless adoption of succession plans.

What You Need To Do The Role

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a proven track record in influencing business decisions and driving performance through technical data analysis. You will have excellent communication skills to effectively convey both simple and complex issues across all levels of the organisation, while adeptly managing stakeholders and collaborating within cross-functional teams.

Experience in managing high workloads under tight deadlines, along with a background in embedding policy change, is essential.

Extensive expertise in emissions trading schemes, CORSIA, fuel efficiency, and aircraft data capture for reporting purposes is required, including a comprehensive understanding of industry regulatory compliance.

You will demonstrate a results-oriented mindset, anticipating and overcoming obstacles while considering broader business implications. An ability to analyse issues from a holistic business perspective, rather than solely functional or personal viewpoints, is paramount.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
