The role:

An exciting opportunity to join British Airways as a Key Account Manager has arisen!

Based in Warsaw, Poland you will be part of the British Airways & Iberia Europe, LATAM & Asia Pacific field sales team adding personal value towards securing our revenue streams from Poland and the neighboring markets from a mix of key travel trade and corporate accounts, that we already have productive and very well developed relationships with.

Our wider Commercial team plays a pivotal role into securing the revenue flows for both British Airways and Iberia allowing us to invest £7bn in over 600 initiatives over the next few years.

This role is a remote role based in Poland. As a result, you must be based in Poland with the right to live and work in the country.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop strong networks across your Travel Trade & Corporate accounts.
  • Deliver revenue targets by matching our products portfolio to your accounts travel needs.
  • Own and manage our Agency Programmes to your own portfolio of top accounts.
  • Build and steer our Corporate Programmes on Business, Corporate Express, Be Spoke Deals
  • Negotiate and implement commercial agreements to design and deliver effective account development plans.
  • Monitor revenue performance and private fares usage and close revenue gaps monthly.
  • Drive NDC adoption, trade-ups and ancillary sales from Poland and designated markets.
  • Own & host trade seminars, workshops in person and virtually.

What you’ll bring to British Airways:

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Polish.
  • Advanced influencing and negotiation skills to engage and drive your own portfolio of accounts to exceed our joint targets.
  • Curious and proactive to seek new sales and revenue opportunities.
  • A digital mindset and able to effectively analyse data sources to identify revenue gaps and offer insights and solutions.

Your experience:

  • A good understanding of aviation environment is desirable.
  • Qualification and/or experience in a relevant account management or commercial field.
  • A background in managing complex business relationships, both internally and externally.
