About The Opportunity

Our Design and Experience team can maximize return on investment for clients through well designed space appropriately aligned with a client’s mission and values. There is a strong adjacency value to existing and potential clients who often have space occupied by people.. Our design and workplace strategy teams maintain leadership in industry trends and design thinking by actively participating in national speaking engagements, authoring white papers, and serving on national boards of professional organizations.

As an Interior Design Professional, you will be working within the RIBA framework from strategy through concept to completion. You will create beautiful responsible spaces that function for our clients.

Our Interiors and Insight department is predominantly focused on the workplace with a bias towards life sciences and technology clients covering both public and private sectors. Other Interiors work is spread across transit and hospitality and public realm where customer experience is key with projects across the globe. You’d need to be based on a hybrid basis at one of our London, Manchester or Birmingham offices.

You will

  • Design, Create, Author and Specify full packages for fit out of interior schemes including, but not limited to Finishes, Joinery and FF&E
  • Provide programming, space planning, furniture layouts and concept presentations to clients
  • Produce technical drawings for Tender and Construction stage
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Contribute to resource planning
  • Check and review and approve work by others where required
  • Schedule and attend design reviews and peer crits and other gateway stage in line with programme


Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture plus BIID registration or a willingness to work towards it
  • 8 to 10 years' post graduate experience
  • Evidenced track record of commercial experience in an Interiors or Architectural practice
  • Passion for and comprehensive understanding of sustainability accreditation
  • Proficiency and project delivery experience in REVIT from concept to delivery plus experience with Sketch-up, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Adobe creative suite
