Description:The LM Mission Capabilities Operations Analysis (OA) team, under corporate Engineering & Technology, is looking for a motivated individual for a OA Internship position. The selected individual will be responsible for working on analysis related to large campaign efforts that incorporates statistics, data analysis, and mission and war gaming analysis deliverables by working together with analysis from the Business Areas. The selected candidate will be studying either mathematics, data science, or operations research and be learning toward a career in those or a related discipline.
In this role, the candidate is required to be able to respond with agility and purpose by obtaining input from relevant team members and to deliver timely, trusted data analysis.
The candidate must be gaining experiences with analysis processes; everything from defining and decomposing analysis questions, detailing measures of effectiveness and performance, and planning out analysis approaches.
This opportunity is ideally for a candidate with a strong mathematical and analytical background, a strong desire to broaden their knowledge of analysis, and the ability to build collaborative relationships to solve hard problems.

Desired Skills:
Pursuing college majors in mathematics, data science, machine, learning, and artificial intelligence, and operations research.
Interest or a background in modeling, simulation, and analysis is desired.
Experience communicating concepts and working to listen to and identify customer analysis needs

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
