Engineering Project Manager / HYBRID TELEWORK

These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.
THE WORK
Product Team Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for the Naval Maintenance Repair Overhaul (N-MRO) Program. Partnered with N-MRO Program Managers, the EPM will be responsible for planning and execution of technical scope including risk/opportunity management, future proposal technical solution and estimation, technical operations, and interface with N-MRO Customers, Users, and other stakeholders.
Accountable for overall engineering technical, cost and schedule performance. Responsible for identification and closure of technical issues. Meets/Exceeds all technical commitments made to the programs. Tracks Estimated time to Complete/Earned Value Management (ETC/EVM) Metrics to monitor program performance and identify technical or Tech Ops staffing risks, while managing cost/schedule.
Ensures requirements baseline in documents, tracked, maintained, and verified. Ensures establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPM).
Provides timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements.
Works with Program Management (PM) to ensure staffing demands are up to date. Works closely with first and second line functional leaders to identify and secure appropriate staffing, coordinates with the PM office and first line managers on proposed engineering staffing changes prior to changes.
Works with PM to ensure organizational standard processes are adapted, approved and followed. Leverages proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry. In concert with the LOB and/or Market Segment Chief Engineer, ensures program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Modern Engineering Practices.
