What will you do?

As a Security manager, it’s your task to make sure that our two units in Gate Gourmet Amsterdam are working in accordance with all government regulations and necessary security measures. As well as following our company policies of Unit preparedness and Ramp safety.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Train staff on security procedures and conduct audits to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate any security incidents and report findings and recommendations.
  • Manage security risks by identifying and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain aviation security standards and accreditation as a regulated supplier of inflight supplies.
  • Validate known suppliers and coordinate with the supply chain department.
  • Promote security awareness among all employees.
  • Participate in the Pride and Squad Meetings, POCO and ISMS events with Schiphol.
  • Prepare for and facilitate inspections and audits from authorities and customers.
  • Report, define, measure and achieve security KPIs.
  • In case of an emergency: stop production, evacuate or close the unit if necessary for security reasons.


Experience and skills:  

  • Extensive experience as a security manager or consultant, preferably in the Aviation industry.
  • You are analytical.
  • You have excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to lead cross-functional account teams.
  • You have good practical problem-solving skills at tactical level.
  • You can develop and implement integrated customer strategies and execute on account tactics.
  • You understand the aviation industry.
  • You thrive in an international (matrix) organization.
  • You unlock new business potential by challenging the status quo.
  • You build insights and function as the catalyst for the procurement department.
  • You have excellent command of Dutch and English both written and spoken.
  • You are hands-on negotiator with excellent planning skills.
  • You have familiarity with risk analysis, crisis management and Unit Emergency preparedness
  • You have experience coordinating with government regulators.
