Northrop Grumman Is Hiring a Highly Skilled Administrative Assistant To Work In Our Dulles, VA Campus. The Successful Candidate Will Be a Vital Member Of The Team And Perform Normal Office Functions Including, But Not Limited To

  • Provide support to Director's team, including scheduling internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate calendars, travel arrangements, expense reports and all forms of correspondence.
  • Support communication and meetings to the Systems Engineering organization.
  • Office seating coordination with facilities.
  • Maintaining various forms/files/folders/access lists.
  • Arrange meetings and conferences.
  • Record and distribution of meeting minutes.
  • Communicate with executive, administrative and management personnel to gather or convey relevant information.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher and a minimum of 4+ years of experience providing Administrative or Executive support.
  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in business and travel expense system Concur (or similar) with complex, frequently changing travel.
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple administrative projects and initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to be collaborative, proactive, self-motivated, well-organized, detail oriented and assertive as necessary and able to execute projects and tasks independently.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment while demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts, and providing excellent follow-through.
  • Experience in planning and providing logistical support for meetings and events.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Confluence

Salary Range: $53,000 - $88,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
