Our expectations:

If you are a self-starter and a motivated professional who can work with minimal supervision, we invite you to apply.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Conduct patent searches and extract findings/summaries.
  • Work with experienced engineers and support technology harvesting for individuals and groups
  • Assist in raising invention disclosures for senior staff members.
  • Support invention disclosure reviews.
  • Make, refine, and update existing data visual tools.
  • Participate, contribute, deliver presentations in Engineering.
  • Contribute to patent portfolio refinement of P&W.

What you need to be successful:

Must haves:

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Software engineering / Aerospace engineering / Physical engineering / Systems Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment

What my role type is:

Hybrid- 3 days a week onsite- from 9am to 5 pm.
