Talent Acquisition Manager, Asia Pacific

Role

Reporting directly to the People Director, Asia Pacific, the Talent Acquisition Manager will help establish talent acquisition strategy, programs and policies for the region to ensure best practices are in place to maximize efficiency and effectiveness for the recruitment of managerial level positions across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate, develop and implement strategy, policies and procedures related to talent acquisition, manpower planning and succession planning for Asia Pacific region.
  • Share best practices and advice to market People teams on local recruitment plan and strategies, support on strategic frontline restaurant colleagues recruitment projects as required
  • Working with the Group DE&I team and Asia Pacific Group Inclusion Council members, define DE&I objectives for the region, design and deliver relevant plan and activities for office and restaurant hiring and employees
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment activities for Asia Pacific head office, and for other key managerial positions in the region as assigned.
  • Build SSP Asia Pacific’s employer brand and company culture through various talent management initiatives and frontline outreach programs.
  • Review and develop effective and creative talent acquisition channels to ensure a steady candidate pipeline.
  • Consistently monitor and assess overall talent acquisition effectiveness within the region and provide recommendations to drive improvements.
  • Monitor and report regional key staffing metrics (cost per hire, time to fill, number of hires per source, etc).
  • Support ad hoc HR projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or other related discipline.
  • 10 - 12 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 6 years at managerial level, preferably in executive search, or F&B, hospitality, retail and service-oriented industries.
  • Candidate with regional exposure in Asia Pacific is highly desirable.
  • Proactive, self- driven, resourceful, with excellent learning agility, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Travels within the region may be required.
