Lead Architect

PURPOSE

Accountable for designing solution roadmaps to meet business requirements through requirement analysis cross-team collaboration and problem resolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of our central Information Systems architecture team, you will collaborate with senior architects and stakeholders to design and implement effective enterprise solutions that align with business goals and objectives: 

Analyzes client requirements and determines appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.

Designs solution roadmaps system and software architecture according to business strategies standards and processes using existing SITA and third party components as appropriate.

Whilst assessing any potential risks and determines solutions to these risks.

Initiates and supports the Architecture Governance for Business benefit.

Supports the technical evaluation for key technical standards.

Works with other architects technology experts and business stakeholders to provide architecture support to internal and external clients.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Assist in Enterprise Architecture Planning: Work closely with senior architects to develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, principles, and standards.
  • Solution Design and Development: Participate in the design and development of enterprise solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical architecture, and best practices.
  • Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, providing recommendations for their integration into the enterprise architecture.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints that guide the development of IT solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise projects. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements and convey architectural decisions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and process flows.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in architecture reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards.

 

 

EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in architectural modeling tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience or knowledge in architecturing enterprise solutions
