ServiceNow Developer (ITSM and ITOM)

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: 
As ServiceNow Developer, You will act as the subject matter expert to all matters relating to ServiceNow solutions, acting as an advisor, consultant and thought leader for SITA’s internal and external customers, and as an architect and designer of the resulting ServiceNow solutions.


Please note that the Job title on SITA offer for this role will be Lead Analyst Service Improvement as aligned with our internal career framework.

 WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

•    Manage the delivery of ServiceNow projects, coordinating with on and off-shore teams and providing technical expertise and guidance.
•    Identify opportunities for improvement within existing service operations and core propositions related to ServiceNow.
•    Designing solutions according to enterprise standards and also ServiceNow guidelines/recommendations.
•    Research, evaluation, proof of concepts and adoption of new technologies or functionalities based on the company needs.
•    Consult on, design, and lead development of integrations between ServiceNow and other best-of-breed enterprise tools.
•    Contribute to the definition of ServiceNow design policies, principles and guidance and the continuous improvement of working practices.
•    Provide solutions and impact on the current ServiceNow implementation, based on the requirements provided by the Business. Includes upgrades of ServiceNow
•    Prepare requirements document and technical documents.
•    Work with Suppliers/Customer to define the integration with our ITSM tool.
•    Be able to adapt in a dynamic environment and work on multiple projects.

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE: 

•    Minimum of five years’ experience working in a client-facing solution architecture, consulting or service delivery role within the IT services industry, at least two which have involved the development of Managed Services solutions and ServiceNow solutions.
•    Hands-on experience in configuration and customization of ServiceNow instances.
•    Experience in multiple ServiceNow implementations.
•    Experience in supporting and troubleshooting ServiceNow workflows, involving multiple external systems and tools.
•    Hands-on with the design and modification of ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs and other ServiceNow administrative tasks.
•    Experience of ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc).
•    Experience on Service Portal development and troubleshooting.
•    Good knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and latest ServiceNow features.
•    Team player and self starter.
•    Strong verbal communication, presentation and writing skills.
•    CMDB and CSDM design experience.
•    Experience in delivering ServiceNow transformation projects.

 

Desirable:

•    Experience working in a complex ServiceNow environment with LDAP/SSO/MSP (domain separation).
•    Hands-on experience in creation, configuration and customization of workflows using Flow Designer and Classic Workflow.
•    Experience on the Development of Custom Applications on the ServiceNow platform based on the customer requirements.
•    Monitor health, usage and compliance of ServiceNow systems.
•    Experience with ServiceNow Agile and Test Management applications.
•    Knowledge of web technologies and cloud computing principles for cloud-based platforms that includes Saas, Paas, multi tenancy and automation.
•    ITIL v3 Certification
•    ServiceNow CTA (Certified Technical Architect) or CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification.
