Linux SRE

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You'll Do:

You will provide direct Linux support for business critical systems. Lead IT in Linux automation and infrastructure as code. Design systems to process and end state goals.

• Linux Systems Administration
• Ansible playbook design and refactoring
• Terraform implementation
• Linux Automation
• Design observability platform
• Lead future SRE team
  
  

What You Need:

• 10+ years of experience in Linux administration
• BS in CS/IT or similar
• Any licenses/certifications
• Python, Bash expertise required
• AWS, IAM experience a must
• IAC, CloudFormation expertise
  
  

Bonus Qualifications:

• MS in IT/CS or similar
• Aircraft/Airline experience
• BC/DR Lead experience

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between 196,000 - 246,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
