The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

CORE is the RTX operating system built upon the legacy of Lean and 6Sigma practices and is fundamental to how the company executes all business objectives. The CORE operating system unifies business units and functions across the company with a common language and methodology.

The Customer Care & Operational Excellence CORE Lead role will lead the configuration and implementation of RTX CORE across Customer Care & Operational Excellence. This role also focuses on the use of CORE tools to enable Customer Care & Operational Excellence to prioritize improvement opportunities, assign resources, and solve the highest impact business problems so we deliver results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the implementation of the CORE operating system through Customer Care & Operational Excellence, and drive corresponding cadences.
  • Focus on strategic priorities aligned with the CORE Goal Alignment process
  • Facilitate workshops, execution & progress reviews, retrospectives, and other forums to assist with the Customer Care & Operational Excellence domain and subdomain CORE configuration, implementation, and deployment
  • Assist with tracking improvement targets, hosting strategic initiative reviews, quarterly business reviews, and staff meetings
  • Provide guidance and clarity to subdomain leadership to drive process maturity and operational performance
  • Actively collaborate across subdomains to accelerate CORE adoption and deliver results
  • Build a CORE talent pipeline to meet CORE training and certification requirements
  • Collaborate on Customer Care & Operational Excellence Transformation initiatives, developing roadmaps, potential implementation lead for specified projects
  • Become CORE Expert certified, if not already

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Business-related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 12 years relevant experience
  • Ability to influence senior level stakeholders and work across the organization with proven communication skills
  • Successfully obtained CORE Expert certification, or equivalent Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a CORE embedded lead (or legacy organization equivalent) is a plus
  • Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.

Minimum Program Qualifications

To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

  • Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application
  • Have prior experience in functional area of interest
  • Have interest in returning in either a full-time or part-time position

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
