We are currently on the lookout for a Technical Support Manager to join the team in Leighton Buzzard site.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the highest level of technical standard while also having a pragmatic outlook taking into account business constraints.
  • Supports and develops procedure improvements that maximize benefit to the business without compromise to ensure compliance against Customer and Regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work meticulously to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Supports the airworthiness team in the coordination aspects of design change projects and approvals.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to provide technical support as required.
  • Is an excellent communicator and is able to clearly articulate technical arguments to different stakeholders within Engineering as well as the wider Business.
  • Provides support to Engineers looking to attain technical signature approvals.
  • Develops training material and supports the Head of Airworthiness in training roll-out and delivery.
  • Supports the Head of Airworthiness in the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Part 21 design organisation procedures.
  • Support for technical queries coming into the team to ensure they are handled appropriately.
  • Supports Head of Airworthiness, as required, with counterparts from Customers and from the Regulator
  • Actively supports Engineers in their development to obtain signature approvals under the Organization’s delegations.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable certification experience in the Aerospace industry, either at equipment level or at aircraft level
  • Proven track record of technical excellence support in delivering complex engineering work packages
  • Experience working with both Customer and Regulatory requirements (Part-21, CS25 etc)
  • Operates with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work uncompromised and with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and build effective relationships with customers and internal departments
