 ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: Business Operations Graduate

The Business Operations Graduate reports to the Head of Business Operations who is responsible for the operation of the business, including the execution and management of our business goals and strategic initiatives. This varied role will provide the graduate with the opportunity to collaborate across the business unit including strategy, marketing, product and commercial teams.

 

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Internal employee communications including managing the internal communications calendar, creating newsletters, emails, surveys, presentations, videos, organizing internal events such as staff calls, monitoring the communications mailbox.
  • Liaise with SITA Brand team to design and create assets that support our internal communications.
  • Knowledge Management, managing and building content on our internal SharePoint, including organization charts and team charters.
  • Update the SITA at Borders Operating Framework and associated links to support effective collaboration across our teams.
  • Organize meetings and conferences both in-house and external, including preparation of agendas, co-ordination of logistics, compilation and distribution of documentation and presentations, handle follow-up actions where necessary.
  • Organize CSR and team activities.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Marketing or human resources experience related degree or strong preference for a career in these professions.
  • Worked as part of a busy team in a customer-orientated environment, multi-tasking and dealing with people at all levels. 

 

COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent English, fluency in a non-English language an advantage.
  • Microsoft 365, especially MS Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
  • Works well independently and with international virtual teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Comfortable using AI to create impactful communications.

 

NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Creative skills, both written and visual, and content management experience, perhaps from an educational or business environment.
  • An interest in aviation, security, customs, and border management.
