Position Summary

The position will act as a liaison between the two General Dynamic Aerospace companies: Jet Aviation and Gulfstream. The Supply Chain Management Liaison will be located within the Gulfstream facility in Savannah, GA, while representing Jet Aviation and connecting intercompany operational departments of Supply Chain Management. This is an on-site role. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range will be as follows: $88,728 - $97,601.

 

The goal is to provide technical resources to related teams across all sites and time zones, by generating accurate, competitive, and timely support.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant Supply Chain Management project management experience
  • Experienced in Supply and Tooling management
  • Strong project management experience
  • Knowledge in international trade and customs
  • Ability to solve problems creatively.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading functional/cross-functional initiatives.
  • Good understanding cross department process and project management
  • Strong track-record in managing customer expectations in a matrixed organization.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Strong communication skills with command of the English language, and attention to detail
  • Communication skills to exchange functional information with all levels of leadership and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong initiative and self-direction and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • High-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  • Quality driven with a passion for excellence to represent Jet Aviation as a Brand Ambassador

Main Responsibilities

  • Strengthening inter-company cooperation through support work by:
  • Providing daily guidance in prioritizing required parts.
  • Acting as on side point of contact for all material related topics
  • Supporting relevant departments with locating parts and finding solutions
  • Assisting with part expediting process
  • Coordinating and supporting all internal stakeholder to ensure on-time delivery of material and parts.
  • Setting and lead commutation channels to ensure on time exchange of information to and from stakeholder.
  • Gathering and analyzing data, create and share KPIs.
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
  • Review purchase order claims and contracts and discuss defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.
  • Submit project status to stakeholders, review and anticipate potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management
  • 5-8 years of relevant Supply Chain Management project management experience within the aviation industry
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Understanding of business aviation environment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in luxury and/or in high-value shipments management.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Willingness and ability to make decisions.
  • Sound and accurate judgement
  • Ability to lead and work with others to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex issues.
  • Strong communication to exchange functional information.
