Accountant (Vendor & Tax)

Job Summary

Guarantee the proper management of supplier and tax accounting.

Provide applicants with the accounting and financial information necessary for their actions, on time and in appropriate forms.

Ensure relations with external stakeholders in connection with the company's accounting (Auditors, consultants, others if applicable).

Job Responsibilities:

Accounting section :

• Ensure approval of invoices, and check their compliance with purchase orders and delivery order.
• Control of the invoices and ensure their compliance with delivery dates following the new law on payment deadlines
• Monitoring of payment deadlines in compliance with the new law on payment deadlines.
• Ensure the analysis and clearing of supplier accounts.
• Monitoring of contracts and certification of suppliers’ tax regularity and ensuring their authenticity.
• Manage complaints and monitor credits to be received from suppliers.
• Ensure the conservation and archiving of accounting documents in accordance with the regulation.
• Ensure the accounting of supplier invoices within defined deadlines.
• Monitoring and clearing of the advances on travel cost account.
• Carry out the clearance of bank reconciliation statements monthly and explanations of pending movements.
• Carry out any other one-off or permanent tasks requested by management in conjunction with Swissport accounting

Tax section :

• Preparation and filing of monthly tax returns (TVA-RAS-IR)
• Preparation and filing of quarterly tax returns (Délai de paiement- Paiements des acomptes IS- Office des changes)
• Preparation and filing of annual tax returns (Liasse fiscale - Taxe professionnelle.)
• Guarantee the filing and monitoring of VAT refund files.
• Preparation of tax regularity certificates
• Monitor the evolution of tax regulations and ensure their implementation.

Qualifications

• License degree (or 2 Years’s degree) in business administration or finance
• Accounting education is Mandatory
• 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting & Financial roles or similar roles
• Finance regulation
• Moroccan accounting law « CGNC »
• Moroccan tax law
• Respect for ethical rules
• Rigor and serious
• Interpersonal skills
• Authonomy
• Experience with SAP and English speaker is a plus
