Team Leader Baggage Sorting

Job Summary

To efficiently manage and direct baggage processing activities to deliver high quality products/services to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage his team to Load /unload baggage from BMA/BHS carrousels
• Assist SPVR during shift, to have safe and smoot operation
• Remove FOD from both GSE and airport BHS/BMA areas
• Comply with ALL safety/security rules/regulations
• Report any GSE damage or procedure not followed to immediate SPVR and system
• Perform daily GSE check in all equipment
• Clean/Maintain company facilities and equipment
• Load and unload Baggage, CGO and Mail from both container or bulky trolleys
• Load/unload Wheelchair and Baby stroller and deliver to designated area
• Pick and Drop baggage from/to baggage sorting belts
• Ensure accountability for every luggage on customer flight, through a BRS System or Bingo sheet
• Ensure correct stocking of customer ULD’s
• Report irregularities and take appropriate action
• Build and maintain good management/workforce relations
• Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
• Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures
• Ensure Compliance with all Uniform & PPE Requirements
