Job Title

Social Impact Manager

Foster the inclusion of small and medium industry player into the travel and tourism ecosystem

  • Actively coordinate the network of customer learning services teams across Amadeus to measure Amadeus' contribution to the digital upskilling of travel and tourism professionals. Gather and aggregate social impact data generated by each team, draft and design report to monitor input / output / impact, communicate outcome so far and build mid/long term vision of this stream as a key contributor of the Amadeus Social Sustainability Strategy
  • Represent ESG interest in the network of internal and external partners that supports small and medium players of our industry (startup teams, SMEs, tech partners etc.). Regularly gather and monitor contribution of each partner to overall ESG ambition and targets, create and maintain bi-yearly dashboard, report on progress and foster synergies between the different programs

Develop and coordinate social innovation initiatives leveraging collaboration

  • Design and build new social impact programs to promote a purpose-driven innovation ecosystem in travel and tourism
  • Identify and analyze purpose-driven programs within our industry
  • Create alliances and partnerships with key industry stakeholders (customers, partners...), negotiate with potential partners, and coordinate the relationship with them.
  • Build internal relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support delivery of new purpose driven initiatives
  • Define the new purpose-driven program proposal and present it for approval: objectives, KPI, activity plan, beneficiaries, partners, timeline, budget.
  • Once validated, lead implementation of the project, its communication and reporting streams in accordance with timing, budget and resources available and quality expected
  • Regular monitoring and lead improvement plan to ensure activities are aligned with the Social Innovation priorities and ESG ambition
  • Contribute to the acceleration of existing programs:
  • Participate in the development of existing social innovation programs - such Travel4Impact, the Social Entrepreneurship competition etc. - lead the implementation of new initiatives within these programs (e.g. consulting and mentoring initiatives etc.)

Improve our company's reputation and positioning as a social innovation leader

  • Actively raise and create awareness of Social Impact programs and initiatives in this strategic line
  • Design fundamental materials to present our strategic line to internal and external audiences
  • Lead agencies and external partners to deliver highly qualitative cost effective communication assets
  • Act as an external and internal advocate on Social Impact topics and represent Amadeus in Social Impact channels, events and networks.
  • Drive internal communication stream, choosing channels and negotiating slots to amplify our work and bring our stories to life: make available content kit to partners, apply to awards etc.
  • Maintain an understanding of leading trends and changes in social impact and ESG topics.
  • Coordinate and aggregate sources, build dashboard, perform analysis, challenge sources when needed, make available outcomes for further use in internal and external communications initiatives and act as responsible person for any monitoring question related to this stream.
