Product Marketing Manager - Communications and Data Exchange

As Product Marketing Manager, you will lead product marketing activities for some of the most exciting products within SITA’s Communications and Data Exchange division. Acting between Product, Marketing, and Sales, the Product Marketing Manager’s primary mission is to get new Network, Voice, Security, and Data products and features to market and help them grow.

 

ABOUT THE JOB

 

As Product Marketing Manager at SITA’s Communications and Data Exchange business, you will contribute towards developing our portfolio and its successful positioning in the marketplace, creating messages that speak directly to the aspirations of our customers. You will provide marketing leadership and support in identifying, planning, and implementing activities that address the market opportunities and the product strategy, helping to achieve our business goals.  

 

As a vital member of the product department, you will partner with product managers, sales, and customer success teams to understand customers’ needs and become the customers' overarching voice. You will develop solid market intelligence to help launch products and features that fit customers’ use cases and work closely with other Marketing departments to implement successful growth strategies across multiple channels.

 

You will advocate for your portfolio, own the product’s messaging and go-to-market, and be a key sales enabler, helping to convey the products’ positioning internally and externally. This role will allow you to build and sustain excellent relationships with a multicultural cross-functional team to develop impactful marketing activities. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Value Proposition Mastery

  • Craft compelling messaging that speaks to the cohesive story of our portfolio and addresses customer needs.
  • Develop sales materials for new products and ensure alignment with product managers.
  • Enhance messaging strategies to effectively communicate product value propositions.

Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Guide the marketing team in developing crisp, compelling messages, and graphics.
  • Lead marketing efforts, working closely with Product Managers to create unique value propositions and compelling stories.
  • Establish clear leadership in marketing activities, providing guidance and direction to the team.

Creative Content Development

  • Coordinate with PR agencies to secure placement in online peer articles and drive organic/inorganic growth.
  • Articulate and craft crisp marketing messaging, leveraging internal resources and potentially external agencies.
  • Develop and execute compelling marketing campaigns that drive product awareness and sales.

Collaborative Innovation

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Sales, and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs and create unique value propositions.
  • Drive external publicity, organize customer events, and enhance sales enablement efforts to promote new products.
  • Focus on business partnering to drive awareness of telco products within the Communications and Data Exchange Portfolio.

Multi-Channel Impact

  • Increase external publicity through various channels, including digital campaigns and industry events.
  • Enhance messaging strategies to effectively communicate product value propositions.
  • Increase visibility and placement in relevant industry publications and platforms.

Market Intelligence Maven

  • Provide market intelligence by conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Develop sales materials for new products and ensure alignment with product managers.
  • Enhance messaging strategies to effectively communicate product value propositions to support targeted segmentation strategies.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven track record in product marketing or management, preferably in the telecommunications, networking, or tech industries.
  • Experience in aviation or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch and grow products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of product/market fit concepts, marketing strategies, and sales enablement.
  • Willingness to stretch from strategic thinking to execution details to drive exceptional business results.
  • Solid project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse and virtual teams.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills in English.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master’s or MBA degree is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
