Ryanair are recruiting for a Sustainability Manger to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Based in Dublin and reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Sustainability & Finance, this is a key role within the Sustainability team.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the drafting of key non-financial disclosures including CSRD ESRS 1.
  • Monitoring and reporting our fuel usage and CO2 emissions for compliance reporting such as the EU ETS, UK ETS or CORSIA, and managing our allowances and offsets.
  • Implementing and communicating the flight labeling scheme to inform our passengers about the environmental impact of their flights and encourage them to choose lower-emission options.
  • Linking SAF to ETS and identifying the best strategies to reduce our carbon intensity and optimize fuel costs.
  • Conducting research and analysis on the latest trends and developments in the aviation sustainability sector and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and report against ESG metrics and targets (e.g. SBTi).
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a sustainability-related role.
  • Knowledge of the regulation and policy frameworks for SAF and ETS, and their implications for the aviation sector.
  • Excellent analytical skills are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of initiative alongside strong interpersonal and excellent communications skills.
