Trainee Aircraft Mechanic (m/f/d)

Ryanair Engineering Germany GmbH with its company seat at the airport Berlin-Schönefeld was founded in 2018 and is a 100% subsidiary of Ryanair.

The Irish airline is, at the moment, operating an aircraft fleet of more than 450 modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will, until 2027, further expand. Additional 150x 737 8200 have been ordered to be delivered between 2027 and 2030. Our highly trained and dedicated engineering team is responsible for the maintenance of all Ryanair aircraft based in Germany.

We are currently looking for:

Career Change Program as Trainee Aircraft Mechanic (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER).

Trainee Aircraft Mechanic Responsibilities:

  • Performing of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks under supervision
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks
  • Complete the appropriate documentation
  • Comply with all company procedures and regulations
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to
  • Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager

More about the program:

  • The program includes a 12-week intensive training program at one of our maintenance facilities
  • Intakes throughout the year 2024 and onwards
  • Works as Aircraft Mechanic in Year 2
  • Possibility of becoming Modules to obtain an EASA CAT A license
  • English is the business language


Requirements

  • Technical apprenticeship background required
  • Ability to join a 12-week intensive training program, which will be carried out at one of our Ryanair facilities
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU and travel freely throughout Europe.
  • Valid driving license.
  • A strong aptitude for manual work is recommended and a keen interest in a career within aircraft maintenance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of English is required
  • Ability to pass a full German security background check - Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung (ZÜP)
  • Be 18 years or older.
