The Sales Enablement Specialist plays a pivotal role in empowering the global indirect sales team of Air New Zealand to excel in their performance. In this position, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in New Zealand, Australia, and the US to bolster Air New Zealand's sales efforts. As an expert supporting experts, your primary objective is to provide unparalleled problem-solving skills and assistance, all aimed at maximizing revenue growth for our business.


Please note, this role is based in Wellington only. 


Mō Te Tūranga - About The Role

  • Be the superhero of program support and partnership management support.
  • Maintain systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise within the sales team.
  • Generate reports, automate processes, and manage financial aspects.
  • Assist with elements of account management, sales support, and government/corporate assistance.
  • Coordinate and manage events efficiently for the sales team.
  • Provide technical support and manage communication channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks and escalations promptly.
  • Fulfill special requests and develop custom solutions as needed for contracted customers.
  • Manage content and provide support in content management efforts.

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and system management in a CRM & GDS environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic fast-moving environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with supplier relationship management tools.
